Last weekend, I got up early and bundled up head to toe to go paint at Hadley Valley. It was the perfect morning for winter painting – though a little windy. There was partial cloudiness but the sun was bright. I got there just before the sun crested, and had the fortunate dilemma of having to decide between two beautiful scenes: sunrise or moonset. I chose the later.

Here are “in action” shots.
